He was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

DIES: A young girl who had been allegedly set on fire by her step-mother in Nusrat Bhutto Colony a few days ago died in Civil Hospital on Thursday.

Police said that Zareena, aged 15, was admitted to the burns ward at Civil Hospital on Nov 2.

In her statment to police, she alleged that her step-mother, Amna, with three unknown persons, doused her with kerosene and set her on fire while she was sleeping.

Police said that Zareena’s real father had died earlier, leaving behind five children.
