Medal winners honoured

ISLAMABAD, Nov 13: Medal winners of the Asian Games, belonging to Pakistan Navy were honoured by Admiral Shahid Karimullah, Chief of the Naval Staff Wednesday.

According to a press release, the kabaddi team that won a bronze, Muhammad Akram, a bronze winner in rowing and Muhammad Riaz who captured a silver in sailing were all felicitated at the Naval Headquarters.

The kabaddi team comprised Muhammad Mansha, Muhammad Akram, Zubair Ahmed, Badshah Gul and Muhammad Akram with Muhammad Sarwar as the coach.

Admiral Shahid lauded the achievements of the sportsmen and urged them to work even harder in future.

He later gave away cash prizes to the players.
