Politicians consult Nasrullah

ISLAMABAD, Nov 10: Leaders of various political parties continued their consultation with the president of the Alliance for Restoration of Democracy, Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan, on Sunday, and discussed their parties’ point of view on the current political situation.

Jamaat-i-Islami Amir Qazi Hussain Ahmed briefed the ARD chief on the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal leaders’ meeting with those of the Grand National Alliance by telephone.

He informed the Nawabzada about the outcome of the meeting on the Legal Framework Order, and said the decision would be taken after the report of the joint committee, set up in this regard by the GNA and the MMA.

Liaquat Baloch of the MMA also called on the Nawabzada and apprised him of the details of the last meeting with the GNA.

Tehmina Daultana and Syed Zafar Ali Shah of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) and Khursheed Shah of the People’s Party Parliamentarians also called on the ARD chief separately, and discussed with him the prevailing political situation, ARD’s future strategy and other related issues.—APP
