KARACHI: Probe into Pasha Gul’s murder demanded

KARACHI, Nov 10: Jamaat-i-Islami deputy-chief Prof Ghafoor Ahmed on Sunday termed the murder of prominent labour leader Pasha Ahmed Gul a “target killing” and demanded of the government to initiate a high-level probe into the incident.

“Pasha Gul’s murder is an attempt to scare the people of Karachi,” he said in a statement, and accused police, other law-enforcement agencies and the city administration of failure in protecting people’s lives and properties.

Praising his services for the cause of labourers, the JI leader said Pasha Gul spent his life struggling for the rights of the working class.—PPI
