LAHORE, Nov 8: Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) secretary-general Syed Munawar Hasan has said the secular pro-American lobby is continuously trying to prevent the formation of a truly representative government in the country.

Delivering the Friday sermon at Jamia Masjid Mansoora, Mr Hasan said formation of public representatives’ government and enforcement of Shariat were required urgently.
