Probables for Asia Cup

LAHORE, Nov 6: Twenty-two probables have been called to pick Pakistan team for the fifth Asia Cup baseball championship to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from Dec 9 to 16.

The training camp will be held from Nov 11 to Dec 5 after which a 17-member team will be selected. Pakistan were the runners-up of the last event held in Indonesia.

The fifth edition was allotted to Pakistan but later shifted to Thailands after various countries showed their inability to visit this country due to security concern. Probables:

PITCHERS. Asjad Mahmood, Saleem Haider, Muhammad Faiz, Sabir Hussain.

CATCHERS: Muhammad Asiq, Ghulam Hussain, Abu Bakar Siddique.

BATTERS: Muhammad Zafar, Muhammad Riaz, Muhammad Imtiaz, Basit Murtaza, Saqib Butt, Shafqat Niazi, Nasir Butt, Rana Ajmal, Sarfraz Ahmad, Muhammad Farooq, Abdur Rahman, Muhammad Arif, Hafiz Musaddiq, Latif Mughal, Shahzad Anwar.
