Four killed on road

SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 31: Four people lost their lives in a road accident while 23 others suffered injuries, seven of them serious, on Thursday near Kot Sondha.

A wagon going to Sheikhupura from Sangla Hill overturned and hit a roadside tree after bursting of one of its tyres on the Sargodha Road, some 25km from here. Hamza, Bushra Bibi and two others, unidentified so far, died instantly while Mukhtaran Bibi, Akram, Karamat, Rashid, Younas, Amin and Imran sustained serious wounds.

Farooqabad Saddar police are looking into the matter.
