DADU: Dadu hit by power breakdown

DADU, Oct 31: A day-long power breakdown occurred here on the other day.

The power supply was suspended early in the morning and it was not restored till filing of this report.

A large number of the residents, businessmen and activists held a demonstration outside the local press club against frequent power breakdowns in the city for the last two days.

ACCIDENT: A boy, Shaukat Ali, died after being hit by a Karachi-bound truck (JA-9016) at Arazi Musafirkhana on the Indus Highway on the other day.

HIJACKED: Four armed men snatched a car (G-4880) from Aijaz Ali Soomro on Tuesday at Sim Nala near Khairpur Nathan Shah after blocking the Indus Highway.

The police have registered a case against Sono, Kadan, Roshan and Abdul Majeed.
