By Our Staff Correspondent

QUETTA, Oct 29: At least five people, including two women and a child, were killed and 12 others injured in two traffic accidents in Mach and Nokundi areas on Tuesday.

Two women and a five-year-old boy were killed and 11 others injured, three of them seriously, when a pick-up slipped into a 100-feet-deep ditch near Mach, some 80km from here. The pick-up was on its way to Sibi from Panjpai.

The administration removed the bodies and injured to the Mach hospital. The driver was also injured and the accident took place due to speeding, police said.

A speeding pick-up turned turtle near Nokundi on the ECO Highway, resulting in death of two persons, Ahmed Khan and Eid Mohammad. A passenger of the pick-up was injured.
