HYDERABAD, Oct 29: The house-job doctors staged a protest demonstration at Liaquat University Hospital here on Tuesday during the visit of the chief secretary.

They were demanding increase in their salary commensurate with the increase in the salary of the doctors of the other provinces.

The chief secretary asked them to send a delegation of three representatives to meet him in Karachi on Thursday to sort out the matter.

POSITION HOLDERS: The University of Sindh, on Tuesday has announced the names of position-holding students in MSc (Final) Communication Technology of the Institute of Information Technology (IIT) academic year 2000.

According to the announcement, Syed Ali Akbar, s\o Syed Shakir Ali Syed, Seat No14, secured first position; Mohammad Mubashir, s\o Mohammad Wazir Pathan, Seat No12, secured second position, and Riaz Saleem, s\o Saleem Akhtar Memon, Seat No16, secured third position.

Meanwhile, the controller has also announced the results of the candidates of the Sukkur Institute of Science and Technology of BBA (Pass) Part I, Part II improver\failure semester examinations 2001 (Batch 1999), MBA (previous) improver\failure, and MBA (Final) semester examinations 2001 (Batch 1999).
