By Our Correspondent

CHARSADDA, Oct 27: Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao, chief of his own faction of People’s Party, has said that his party would step up its struggle for  the rights of the Pakhtoons and for provincial autonomy after the formation of the government.

Speaking at a meeting of farmers in Shakoor village here on Sunday, he said the government had agreed to withdraw the cases registered under the Anti-terrorism Act against the farmers of Charsadda.

He said that committees would be constituted soon for resolving the disputes between the landlords and farmers of the area.

Mr Sherpao vowed that his party would fight for the rights of labourers and farmers.
