JI MNA vows to work for prosperity

Bureau Report

PESHAWAR, Oct 26: Shabbir Ahmad Khan, a leader of Jamaat-i-Islami and MNA-elect from the MMA platform, has pledged that he will work to get due share of Swabi in revenue generated from tobacco crop and electricity production.

Speaking at a public meeting at Marguz in Swabi, he said the so-called leaders had never worked for the under-developed areas of the province despite being part of central and provincial governments many times. People had voted the MMA to power as religious-minded populace of the province were fed up with the nationalist leaders.
