MHCC triumph
KARACHI, Oct 24: Mohammad Hussain Cricket Club (MHCC) registered a five-wicket win over Umer CC, in the Shaheen Gymkhana Super League played at KGA ground Tuesday.
Winning the toss and batting first, Umer CC were bowled out for 175 runs in their 35 allotted overs with Jamshazad Qazi (49), Erum Hasan (37) and Shahid Rasheed (24), among the runs.
Saad Umer two for 14, Ali Mohammad Madni two for 22 and Arslan Anwer two for 26, bowled well for the winners.
Mohammad Hussain CC achieved the target in 25.5 overs, losing only five wickets in the process. Aamir Iqbal (37), Mohtesham Ali (29), Saad Umer (27) and Shafiq Ahmed batted well for the winners.
