KARACHI: Four cars, 15 bikes hijacked

KARACHI, Oct 24: At least 19 vehicles — four cars and 15 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in different parts of the city on Thursday.

Two cars were hijacked and two were stolen while three motorcycles hijacked and 12 motorcycles were stolen in various parts of the city on Thursday.

BODY: A mutilated body was recovered from the banks of Lyari river in Pak Colony on Thursday.

Police said they were informed by the residents of Lashari goth, Pak Colony, that certain body parts of a human being were lying along the riverbed.

Police shifted the parts, including a head, and six parts of forearm to the Civil Hospital.

ACCIDENT: A young man was crushed to death by a speeding bus in Quaidabad on Thursday.

Police said Javed, aged 35, was crossing the main road when he was hit by a speeding bus (JA-0700).

The errant driver escaped while, police claimed to have impounded the vehicle.
