KHAIRPUR, Oct 23: The director general, health, Sindh, has said 21 polio cases have been reported in different parts of the province.

Speaking at a press conference here on Wednesday, the director general said five cases in Khairpur district, seven in Ghotki, three in Karachi and one each in Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad and Hyderabad districts were reported.

He said due to wrong policies of officials of the Expanded Programme of Immunization, the polio virus had spread in the district during the last two years.

He said the EDOs, health, of the affected districts would be removed.
