Trial match on Friday
LAHORE, Oct 22: Test stars Wasim Akram, Saeed Anwar, Moin Khan, Ijaz Ahmed and Shahid Afridi will prove their form and fitness in a one-day trial match, organized by PCB, at Gaddafi Stadium Friday.
The trial match is being played to assess the form and fitness of senior and junior players before considering them for selection for the tours of Zimbabwe and South Africa.
The 50-over-a-side match begins at 9.00am.
Wasim, Ijaz and Saeed will play for PCB Greens while Moin and Shahid will turn out for PCB Reds.

PCB Greens: Saeed Anwar, Riffatullah, Ijaz Ahmed, Usman Tariq, Azhar Mahmood, Kamran Akmal, Yasir Arafat, Wasim Akram, Abdul Rauf, Danish Kaneria, Bazid Khan. 12th man: Junaid Zia.
PCB Reds: Salman Butt, Babar Naeem, Ijaz Ahmed Jr, Naved Latif, Shahid Afridi, Moin Khan, Rana Naveed-ul-Hasan, Mohammad Zahid, Umar Gul, Irfanuddin, Yasir Hameed. 12th man: Najaf Shah.
