HYDERABAD, Oct 21: The district Nazim, Hyderabad, Dr Makhdoom Rafiquzzaman, has declared Oct 22 (today) as a public holiday on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Baraat throughout the district.

Meanwhile, the district Nazim, has banned the sale and purchase of all explosive material, crackers, and artificial bombs for 48 hours on Oct 21 and Oct 22 under section 144 CrPC.

BISE: The controller of examinations, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Hyderabad, has announced the postponement of the examination scheduled for Oct 22 on account of Shab-e-Baraat.

The new date for the paper will be announced later.
