Three die, 10 hurt in accident

DADU, Oct 19: Three persons were killed and 10 others injured on Saturday after a Dadu-bound van plunged into a water course.

The condition of three of the injured persons is said to be critical.

The driver of the van, coming from Mehar, lost control over the vehicle while trying to save a child on the Indus Highway near Kakar.

The dead bodies and the injured were later shifted to the Civil Hospital, Dadu.

Two of the dead were identified as Haji Khan Kumbhar and Chandio. The name of the third person could not be ascertained.

The injured were identified as Abdullah, Amir, Nazakat Ali, Papoo, Abdullah, M. Rahib, Allahdino, Punhall Khan, M. Soomer.—APP
