RAWALPINDI, Oct 19: The Tehsil Municipal Administration (TAM) on Saturday confiscated about 54 buffaloes from various localities in its ongoing operation to drive milch animals out of the city limits.

The cattle were confiscated from Anwar Colony, Qadeer Road, Khuram Colony and kept in the municipal stadium. The TMA operation will continue till all the milch animals have been driven out of the city areas.

On the other hand, the buffalo owners have complained that they brought their animals into the city after the candidates contesting elections promised their re-settlement.
