LAHORE, Oct 18: The Joint Action Committee on Friday launched its fresh campaign of un-announced protests all over the province against government’s negative policies and vindictive actions against teachers. In Lahore, a protest demonstration was organized at the Government Islamia College, Railway Road.

The JAC leaders —- Nazim Hasnain, Prof Dr Haris Rasheed, Prof Dr Yasmin Rashid, Majid Wazir and others said the government was penalizing the teachers and doctors communities while using its power.

They said the committee was sending its point-of-view on present government’s education and health policies to the newly elected legislators. — Reporter
