FO welcomes Indian decision

ISLAMABAD, Oct 17: Pakistan on Thursday welcomed Indian Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee’s decision to travel to Islamabad in January for the Saarc summit.

“Pakistan welcomes the decision,” Foreign Office spokesman Aziz Ahmed Khan told AFP.

“Participation of all Saarc (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) member countries in all Saarc meetings would be helpful towards regional cooperation,” he said.—AFP
