HUB, Oct 15: Three new faces have been introduced from national and provincial assembly seats of Lasbela and Awaran districts in the polls.

Jam Mohammed Yousuf, president of Pakistan Muslim League (Quaid-i-Azam), Balochistan, is the only elected candidate who has remained assembly member earlier.

All the PML-Q candidates defeated their rivals by big margins in the area.

PML-Q’s Pir Abdul Qadir Algelani, son-in-law of Jam Yousuf, from NA-270 defeated his rival Abdul Karim Lasi, younger brother of former federal minister Ghulam Akbar Lasi, of People’s Party Parliamentarians by 23,000 votes.

Aslam Bhotani, younger brother of former provincial minister Sardar Saleh Mohammed Bhotani, was nominated for PB-45, who won by about 10,000 votes. Abdul Quddoos Bezanjo won from PB-41 with a big margin. Jam Yousuf also won from PB-44 by more than 10,000 votes.
