Mahathir due on 18th
ISLAMABAD, Oct 14: Malaysian Prime Minister Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad will undertake a two-day visit to Pakistan from Oct 18.
President Gen Pervez Musharraf and the Malaysian prime minister will hold talks on Oct 18.
A memorandum of understanding on cooperation in information technology is likely to be signed. Dr Mahathir will launch the Liberty Power Project, completed with Malaysian assistance.
An agreement on the construction of a jetty at Port Qasim in collaboration with Malaysia is also expected to be signed during the visit.—APP
