Minor girl drowns in well

ISLAMABAD, Oct 14: A minor girl was killed after falling in a well in Sihala on Monday, police said.

The two-and-a-half-year old Gul Bibi, daughter of Aseel Khan, was playing in the courtyard of her house in Dhoke Timmi, Sihala, when she fell in the well. She was pulled out by rescuers, but pronounced dead by doctors at a near-by clinic, the police said.

ROBBERIES: Two vehicles were stolen and two houses burgled in Rawalpindi on Monday, police said.

Mohsin Ali Shah, an army officer, lost cash, jewellery and clothes after some burglars broke into his house in Lalazar during the absence of the family, the police said.

The complainant told the police that the doorlocks had been broken, and households were scattered in rooms after he returned home.
