8 member of marriage party killed in crash

MULTAN, Oct 13: Eight members of a wedding party were killed and two others injured seriously when their car collided head-on with a bus on Jhang-Muzaffargarh Road, some 125km from here, on Sunday night.

The dead include children.

The wedding motorcade was coming from Garh Maharaja when it met with the tragedy. A car driver Khawar, Noreen, Asma, Kulsoom, Imtiaz and Sumeera died on the spot, while Aslam, Abida, Tauqeer and Sajida sustained critical injuries.

The injured were rushed to Nishtar Hospital where Abida and Sajida succumbed to their injuries. The condition of Aslam and Tauqeer was stated to be critical.
