KARACHI: Post-budget workshop

KARACHI, Oct 13: The Auditor-General of Pakistan, Mohammed Yunis Khan, will inaugurate a two-day post-budget workshop here on Tuesday.

The workshop, being organized under the auspices of the Director-General Revenue Receipts Audit (South), will be held in the auditorium of the Institute of Bankers Pakistan, an announcement said on Sunday.

Speakers include officials of the Auditor-General of Pakistan and Central Board of Revenue. They will deliver lectures on budgetary changes, custom duty, central excise duty and sales tax.

A lecture on petroleum and natural gas and the role of audit will also be delivered.— APP
