KARACHI: MMA will form govt, says Noorani

KARACHI, Oct 11: Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal chief Maulana Shah Ahmed Noorani has said the MMA will get the vote of confidence in the parliament and will form government.

He was talking to the elected as well as nominated candidates for the National and the Sindh assemblies belonging to the MMA, a statement said on Friday.

Maulana Noorani, who is also the chief of Jamiat Ulema-i- Pakistan, said the system based on democratic values would be enforced with supremacy of law and the Constitution.

He said price hike, unemployment, terrorism and extortion would be checked effectively.

Maulana Noorani said the people had given a verdict for a change in the system.

He said: “Insha Allah, now we will enforce Nizam-i-Mustafa in the country.”

He said Pakistan will emerge as a strong, Islamic welfare and democratic country.—APP
