RAWALPINDI, Oct 8: Khateeb Rizwan, who conducted the Under-15 trials here Tuesday for this year’s Junior Asia Cup in the UAE, picked 21 players out of 140 who reported at the Rawalpindi Stadium.
Khateeb, who was assisted by Abdul Sami, told Dawn that out of the selected lot, only Hamid Riaz comes from Jhelum while all others belong to either Rawalpindi or Islamabad.
The boys have been told to report at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on Oct 12 for further trials.
