KARACHI, Sept 30: The Mazdoor Kissan Party on Monday unveiled its manifesto which envisages revolutionary measures, including granting democratic and civil rights to the masses and to ensure complete elimination of feudal system from the country.
Spelling out the salient features of the manifesto, the MKP president, Fatehyab Ali Khan, said it focuses on phasing out the dominance of influential from industrial sector and proposes establishment of small industries, labour courts on the pattern of Kissan courts, earmarking seats for labourers and farmers in national and provincial assemblies in a satisfactory manner.
“Furthermore, 1973 Constitution would be revived to its original shape.
“The education would be free of cost up to matric level and rights would be guaranteed to labourers for union activities.”
Commenting over future assemblies, Fatehyab Ali Khan said none of the party would be able to command 50 per cent of seats in next general elections which would promote the menace of horse-trading in the future parliament.
He said the people would never allow future government to indulge in past evil practices of plot, license and permits and they would take them to task if they dare attempted to pursue same line of action.
A total of nine candidates are contesting for NA seats while 14 for provincial assembly seats.—PPI
