By Our Correspondent

HARIPUR, Sept 25: Pakistan Muslim League-N candidate for PF-49, Haripur-I, Raja Sheeraz Haidar, on Wednesday accused District Nazim Raja Aamir Zaman of interfering in the election process in his constituency  and influencing the voters.

He sent a written complaint in this regard to the Election Commission authorities.

Telling Dawn about his complaint, he said the Nazim was canvassing for his brother, Raja Faisal Zaman, who is in the run for the provincial assembly seat as an independent candidate.

He said the Nazim was announcing development schemes in the constituency to influence the voters in favour of his brother, who had lost the election for union council Nazim.

Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal candidate for NA-19, Ghulam Nabi Khan advocate, has also blamed the Tehsil Nazim and his deputy for manipulating the elections.
