KARACHI: Explosive devices defused

KARACHI, Sept 24: Police defused two explosive devices planted on a motorcycle parked at an apartment complex in Gulzar-i-Hijri on Tuesday night.

The explosive devices were planted in the petrol tank and under the seat of the motorcycle.

The explosive devices planted on a motorcycle (KAP-5650), parked between Blocks A and E of Fahad Square, were spotted by a police officer who lived in the apartment complex. The police officer informed the police control.

A duty official at Gulzar-i-Hijri police station said each of the explosive material weighed around two kg. Police said the motorcycle belonged to Akhtar Leasing Company.

Officials of the Bomb Disposal Squad were examining the explosive material when this report as filed on late Tuesday night.
