Three injured in clash between activists

LARKANA, Sept 22: Three people were injured in a clash between the workers of the PPP and the Sindh National Front (SNF) in the Bagh Ali Gopang village, near Naudero, on late Saturday night.

Those who have been injured are Zulfiqar Ali, Mumtaz Ali, and Riaz Ali. Two of them were admitted to the Chandka Medical College Teaching Hospital.

Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, the chief of the SNF, visited certain localities in Larkana city on Sunday for mustering support for Ms Nasim Akhtar Sahito, a candidate of the National Alliance for NA-204 (Larkana-I).

Mehar Ali Tunio of the PPP-SB parted ways and joined the SNF in Rehmatpur Mohalla.

PPP-SB: The chairperson of the PPP-SB, Ghinwa Bhutto, on Sunday visited various places in Larkana along with the PPP-SB candidate for PS-36 (Larkana-II), Saeed Ahmed Bhutto.

LDA: The Larkana District Alliance (LDA) went into session with Mumtaz Ali Bhutto in the chair on Sunday.

Almost all anti-PPP conglomerates have joined the alliance.

It expressed concern over the NFC award and the attitude of the Sindh government which had accepted it despite having certain reservations about it.
