Khatri Sports and Shaheen Colts win

KARACHI, Sept 18: Khatri Sports and Shaheen Colts registered victories over Karachi Sports and Nayab CC respectively in the KCCA Zone III B Division League cricket tournament.

At KGA Ground, Khatri Sports beat Karachi Sports by six wickets.

Batting first, Karachi Sports were bundled out for 100 with Abdul Hamid five for 33 and Amjad Ali two for 26, causing the landslide. Imran top scored for his team with 39 and Farhan chipped in with 23.

Khatri Sports reached their target for the loss of four wickets with Amjad Ali scoring 34. Adeel Khan bagged two for 32.

In the other match played at Nishtar Park, Shaheen Colts beat Nayab CC by 85 runs. Shaheen Colts scored 270 for nine in 35 overs with Ramiz Raja (68), Abrul ul Haq (59) and Irfan Qureshi (28), among the runs.

Mohammad Iqbal three for 66 and Irfan Ahmed three for 68 shared the bowling honours.

Nayab CC, in reply, were bowled out for 185. Mohammad Iqbal (44) and Sajjid Ali (38) batted well. Shareen Khan three for 44, Raja Sohail three for 52 and Danish Ali three for 59, shared the wickets for the winners.
