KCCA squads named for district event
KARACHI, Sept 18: The Karachi City Cricket Association (KCCA) Wednesday named its Karachi Whites and Karachi Greens teams for the Pakistan Steel Sindh inter-district tournament which resumes here Thursday.
KCCA Whites: Jaffar Qureshi (Captain), Ashraf Ali, Zahid Ghouri, Shahid Dawood, Mansoor Baig, Haris Ayub, Farhan Iqbal, Atif Maqbool, Anis Shaikh, Iftikhar Ali, Humair Shafaat, Rizwan Hasan, Shahid Ayub, Mansoor Ahmed, Ashfaq Shafi and Rao Waseem.
KCCA Greens: Rizwan Qureshi (Captain), Ibrahim Akhtar, Fahad Maqsood, Hafiz Musharraf, Rashid Ali, Nadeem Shad, Sami Fareedi, Umair Ahmed, Wajahat Ahmed, Shiraz Ishaque, M. Imran, Gohar ALi, Amir Junaid, Osama Qureshi, Rizwan Khan and Javed Ghaffar.
KCCA Whites will meet the winners of Pool C in the first semifinals on Saturday while KCCA Greens will meet Dadu District in the second semifinals on Sunday. Both matches will be played at Pakistan Steel Township Ground.—APP
