Shoaib shines with seven scalps

LAHORE, Sept 16: Medium-pacer Mohammad Shoaib Iqbal claimed seven for 39 to help Okara skittled out Sargodha for 187 in their first innings on the first day of the National Junior (Under-19) Grade-II Cricket Championship at Sports  Stadium, Sargodha Monday.

According to details available here, Okara were themselves in trouble as they limped to 68 for six in 22.1 overs at close of play.

Usman Ashraf (87) and Mirza Zaheer Baig (73) helped Gujrat to pile up 286 against Sialkot at Zahoor Elahi Stadium, Gujrat.

Shahid Yousuf and Zohaib Akhtar claimed  four  and  three wickets for 62 and 66 runs, respectively.

In reply, Sialkot were 37 for one.

Meanwhile, Nadeem Sikander was out for 98 as Attock made 196 against Mianwali at Saga ground, Sialkot.

Mianwali were 123 for three at stumps.
