MIRPURKHAS: Five injured in accident

MIRPURKHAS, Sept 16: Five persons, including two children, were injured when a Datsun pickup turned turtle on the Mirpurkhas Tando Allahyar Road on Tuesday.

The pickup, carrying a Hindu family from the annual fest-ival of Rama Pir, was on its way to Umerkot when it turned turtle.

Five-month-old Rakhi, eight-year-old Dhela, Ms Rano and Ms Mavi and one unidentified person were injured.

The injured were taken to the civil hospital where Rakhi was referred to the LMU Hospital, Hyderabad, due to her serious condition.
