HYDERABAD, Sept 16: Fifty-five candidates for six National Assembly seats and 142 candidates for 12 Provincial Assembly seats of Hyderabad district are in the field.

The candidates have also been allotted election symbols by returning officers concerned.

Following is the list of candidates with their respective election symbols.

Makhdoom Amin Fahim (arrow), Rasool Bux Memon (kite) and Shahbuddin Shah Hussaini (bicycle) are among the four candidates who are contesting for NA-218, Hyderabad-I.

For NA-219, Hyderabad-II, Chaudhry Basheer Ahmad (arrow), Ahmad Ali Khan Nagar (bat), Prof Khalid Wahab (kite), Dr Saleem Hyder (fountain), Zaheer Ahmad (table lamp), Sohail Akhtar Siddiqui (candle), Syed Sarfaraz Ali (rose), Syed Mushtaque Ali Qadri (truck), Shabbir Ahmad (tiger), Kaleem Khan (pitcher), Mohammad Iqbal Shaikh (bicycle) and Mushtaque Ahmad Khan (book) are among the 13 candidates.

For NA-220, Hyderabad-III, Mohammad Irfan Qureshi (arrow), Ahmad Ahmad Shaikh (kite), Sahibzada Abul Khair Mohammad Zubair (book), Shabbir Hussain Hashmi (bicycle), Shujauddin (blackboard), Sharif (table lamp), Shahzad Hussain (truck), Abdul Qadeer Ansari (candle), Mohammad Azam Qureshi (telephone), Mohammad Haneef Siddiqui (tiger) and Mir Hyder Khan Talpur (bat) are in the field.

Syed Amir Ali Shah Jamote (arrow), Shabbir Hussain Bajkani (kite), Badarun Nisa Qazi (tiger), Dost Mohammad Channa (trowel), Dost Mohammad Serai (sickle), Syed Shahabuddin Shah Hussaini (bicycle), Syed Ali Hussain Shah (peacock), Abdul Sattar Khan (truck), Qaiser Khan Talpur (cat), Maula Bux Mashori (fist) and Mir Sher Mohammad Talpur (bat) are contesting for NA-221, Hyderabad-IV.

Syed Naveed Qamar (arrow), Asadullah Anwar Baloch (kite), Peer Sajjad Saeed Jan Sirhandi (tractor), Saood Ahmad Farooqui (car), Syed Qamar Zaman Shah (cow), Qadeer Khan Gaddi (tiger) and Mir Hyder Ali Khan Talpur (bat) are contesting for NA-222, Hyderabad-V.

For NA-223, Hyderabad-VI, Shamshad Sattar Bachani (arrow), Sameena Arif Rajput (kite), Adeeba Gul Magsi (crescent), Saqib Jan Babar (gun), Dilshad Ahmad (bicycle), Dr Nawaz Ali Nizamani (book), Shah Jean Memon (car), Mohammad Amin Jarwar (telephone) and Masoodun Nabi (star) are in the field.

There is one-to-one contest between Makhdoom Jameeluzzaman (arrow) and Abdul Rasheed Chandio (kite) for PS-43, Hyderabad-I.

For PS-44, Hyderabad-II, Makhdom Fazal Hussain Qureshi (arrow), Akhund Ghulam Mohammad Siddiqui (telephone), Syed Jalal Shah (rose), Syed Hafiz Haq Nawaz Shah (book), Rasool Bux Memon (kite) and Sharafat Ali Shah (tiger) are in the field.

Mohammad Farooque Qureshi (kite), Ishtiaq Hussain (bed), Afzal Pathan (fist), Aftab Ali (table lamp), Khizar Hayat (tiger), Dr Abdul Samad Shaikh (bat), Dr Masood Jamal (truck), Riaz Mohammad Qureshi (candle), Imran Mateen (star), Shamsuddin (slate), Abdul Rehman Rajput (book), Mohammad Rafique (rose), Mohammad Usman Kennedy (arrow), Mohammad Aleemuddin Niazi (scooter) and Qari Mushtaq Ahmad Farooqui (bicycle) are contesting for PS-45, Hyderabad-III.

For PS-46, Hyderabad-IV, the contesting candidates are Abdul Khalique Leghari (arrow), Arshad Shah (kite), Asad Ali Hashmi (table lamp), Prof Shah Azmat Ali (blackboard), Tariq Niaz Shaikh (cow), Rana Mehmood Ali Khan (book), Syed Afzal Ali (truck), Syed Khalid Iqbal Jafri (tractor) and others.
