Imran excels

LAHORE, Sept 15: Pakistan’s Mohammad Imran Khalid won three silver and one bronze in the World Junior powerlifting championship in Sochi.

Imran competed in the 100kgs weight category and won the first silver by lifting a weight of 315kgs in the squat event.

He grabbed his second silver in the bench press event when lifted a weight of 212.5kgs. He claimed bronze in deadlift by lifting the weight of 307.5kgs. He was also awarded a silver for lifting the overall weight of 835kgs.
