PHF revises junior trials programme

LAHORE, Sept 14: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has brought forward the dates of trials by one day for the selection of Pakistan junior team that will take part in the Akhbar Al-Youm international tournament in Egypt next month.

The trials slated for Sept 21-22 will now be held on Sept 20 at Pakistan Steel Sports Complex in Karachi.

President of the PHF, General Mohammad Aziz Khan, along with members of the national selection committee, will watch the trials, secretary of the PHF, Brig Musarrat Ullah Khan, said.

He said the trials for the selection of under-14 hockey players of Karachi centre for the hockey academy will now be held on Sept 26-27, instead of Sept 21-22 at the Pakistan Steel Sports Complex.—APP
