By Our Correspondent

SIALKOT, Sept 14: Daska police on Friday registered a case against ex-MNA Muhammad Akram Khan and his younger brother Munawar Khan for keeping illicit Kalashnikovs.

No arrest has so far been made in this respect.

Police had recovered two illicit Kalashnikovs on Thursday from the house of former MNA during a raid on Aadamkey Cheema village, Daska tehsil.

Further investigation is under way.

Akram Khan has been the member of national assembly during the regime of deceased prime minister Muhammad Khan Junejo. His nephew Muhammad Azam Khan (PPP) is contesting the general election for PP-130.
