FAISALABAD, Sept 12: Four bandits looted a bank branch and took away Rs1.5 million in Abdullahpur here on Thursday.
The dacoits entered the Habib Bank branch and overpowered the guard. Two gangsters also took hostage visitors and the bank staff at pistol point while their accomplices scooped Rs1.5 million from the cash box. Before fleeing, the bandits locked all the hostages in a room. Eyewitnesses said that all bandits were young and wearing shalwar kameez.— Staff Correspondent
