ABBOTTABAD, Sept 8: The Pakistan Muslim League (QA) has finalized the names of its candidates for the two national assembly and four provincial assembly seats, while decision on the fifth provincial assembly seat is expected to be made soon.

The party’s district president, Sardar Haider Zaman, made this announcement at a press conference here on Sunday.

He said Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob had been nominated for NA-18 (Abbottabad-1) and Amanullah Khan Jadoon for NA-17 (Abbottabad-2).

According to the announcement, Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani will contest for PF-44, Pir Azhar for PF-45, Qaiser Zaman Afridi for PF-46, Nisar Safdar for PF-47, while nomination for the fifth provincial assembly seat (PF-48) is likely to be finalized shortly.

Former federal minister Amanullah Khan Jadoon said the PML (QA) was not a king’s party and alleged that some circles were supporting a particular candidate in the elections.
