KARACHI, Sept 6: Chairman Sindh National Front (SNF), Mumtaz Bhutto has appealed to the people of Sindh to cast their votes only in favour of sincere and committed candidates.
In a statement here on Friday the SNF chief urged the inhabitants of the province to particularly support the candidates who promise on oath to raise voice about the problems of Sindh with specific reference to the Thal canal, the Kala Bagh dam, adequate allocation of Sindh’s share in the national pool of resources, power devolution in its actual spirit and compliance to the Pakistan resolution 1940.
Mentioning the bitter experience of the locals who voted for their “socalled representatives” against false promises, Bhutto said it was time for voters to get concrete commitments in the larger interest of the province.
Mumtaz Ali Bhutto asked the people to beware of candidates who “neither have any manifesto nor any principles but are attempting to seek votes on the basis of manipulation, false promises and use of influence”. He said the role such people would play could well be gauged.—APP
