HRC to plead rape victim’s case

LAHORE, Sept 5: Punjab Human Rights Commission members Mian Jamil Akhtar and Sadia Khalid will plead the case of Samina (11) who was slain after a criminal assault by a trader.

Accused Ijaz Sheikh has obtained interim bail from Muhammad Siddiq, additional sessions judge, Lahore. Both the members announced that they would appear from victim’s side on next date of hearing.—APP
