By Our Correspondent

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Sept 5: Family dispute claimed a life last night at village Ara on Daraban Road.

The dispute was resolved by some elders through partitioning the house by erecting a fence in between.

On Wednesday evening, Jind Wada with Haji Mohammad Ramzan, Mulazim Hussain, Shah Jahan and others are said to have put to torch the fence, and when resisted by Mohammad Aslam, his brother Allah Bakhsh and father Mohammad Ramzan, accused Shah Jahan, Mulazim Hussain and others allegedly opened fire on them. Allah Bakhsh and Mohammad Ramzan were hit by the bullets.

When another brother of Aslam, Hassan, rushed to rescue the injured, all the accused attacked them with daggers and and rushed away.

Allah Bakhsh died on the spot while Ramzan, Hassan and Aslam were admitted to a hospital.

The accused people also lodged an FIR against the injured for attacking them.
