Pakistan face Aussies today

NAIROBI, Sept 3: Pakistan face Australia Wednesday in their last league match in the triangular one-day tournament.

Pakistan, hosts of the competition, were hammered by 224 runs when the two teams last met in the event last Friday.

In this background, the 1992 world champions would be hoping for a change of fortunes and probably the result that would certainly boost their confidence ahead of Sept 7 final.

Pakistan’s batting mainstay, Inzamam-ul-Haq, remains a doubtful starter for Wednesday match as he was still recovering from a knee injury.
