KARACHI: College admission date further extended

KARACHI, Aug 31: City Nazim Naimatullah Khan on Saturday extended the last date by two days for admission to first year in the colleges.

He took the step on the request of a delegation of parents who called on him in his office and told him that the secondary education board had issued marks sheets full of errors which had not yet been corrected.

In this situation the students were unable to submit the admission forms despite extension in the last date for the submission of forms. They asked the Nazim for a further extension.

The City Nazim, convinced of the problem, directed the authorities to extend the last date.

The admission forms will now be accepted till Sept 3 at the prescribed branches of Habib Bank.—PPI
