KARACHI: 16 vehicles hijacked

KARACHI, Aug 28: At least 16 vehicles—four cars and 12 motorcycles— were either hijacked or stolen from different parts of the city on Wednesday.

Three cars were hijacked and one was stolen. Six motorcycles were taken away at gunpoint and six were stolen from various parts of the city.

ROBBERIES: A young man was robbed of cash by armed men in Aram Bagh on Wednesday. According to reports, unknown armed men robbed Noman Ali of Rs 35,470 at gunpoint in the busy commercial area and fled.

A similar report was lodged by Junaid Akthar in Buffer Zone, police said. According to the FIR four armed men deprived Junaid of cash and fled on motorcycle.
