LONDON, Aug 25: Trent Bridge in Nottingham will stage One-day Internationals and Test matches until 2011 following a long-term agreement between the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.
“I’m very pleased that the ECB has reached agreement with Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club about the staging of future international matches at Trent Bridge,” ECB chief executive Tim Lamb said in a statement Sunday.
“This longer term agreement will give Notts the certainty of international cricket until 2011 and enable the club to continue developing the already-impressive facilities at the ground.”
Next year, Trent Bridge will host the opening match of a triangular series between England and Zimbabwe on June 26.
