Protest against Wapda

LARKANA, Aug 25: People from six villages in the vicinity of Kambar town on late Saturday night staged a demonstration to protest against the frequent power breakdowns in the villages.

The villagers, hailing from Mahi Makool, Sarang Khuhawar, Bakho Khuhawar, Chibhar Mughiri, Bahawal Kalhoro and Murad Jagirani, came in buses and tractors to Kambar town.

The protesters were led by Shabir Chandio and Gulbahar. They chanted slogans against Wapda.
